Capturing memories

Thanks to the ever generous Mammasaurus for a fab tute on creating galleries in WordPress, it worked!

Something that’s come up a lot in my reading around motherhood for my dissertation has been capturing memories of and for little ones. Something everyone does in different ways, be it blogging, photos, writing letters to their little ones…

I do a silent sunday photo post every week, but you might not know that I have also taken a Sunday Photo of Joss every Sunday since the 6th May 2012, the day our darling girl was born. Here’s a selection of them, and 18 months on we’re still going, I think we’ll do them until she doesn’t want to anymore. I feel a mammoth tiled gallery of Sunday Photos coming on when I get them all uploaded in one place!

  1. That’s such a lovely idea and will be great to look back on. I managed a photo a day for my first child and made his first year into a video but then my daughter came along and there’s no time for anything any more!

  2. I love this, so many awesome photos. How brilliant to have taken a photograph every Sunday, that’s such a wonderful thing to do. Great to see how Joss has developed too, just fabulous. Thank you so much for sharing with #whatsthestory (great tiled gallery btw!)

  3. What a lovely thing to do. I never put the camera down when Ethan was born but as they get older you do stop using it so much. You have some great memories captured there. I also really need to learn how to go a gallery.

Thanks for linking up with Small Steps Amazing Achievements :0)
